February 22nd thru October 31st, 2021
Dear Friends of Life,
Tomorrow we begin our 40 Day Journey together in prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. At the end of our spring campaign, we were blessed to have Dr. Haywood Robinson speak to us and share his story of conversion. Last month, Haywood lost his beloved wife Noreen to cancer. Dr. Robinson and his family will be in our prayers. We also had Fr. Dismas Veeneman open and close our 40 Days campaign with his story and a final blessing. It is with deep sadness that I share with you that Fr. Dismas passed away Saturday after health struggles this past year.
Fr. Dismas told us how he prayed for his birth Mother who had the courage to give him up for adoption. His birth Mother gave him life and the ability to become the person he is today, a Catholic Priest who stood for Life. He shared with us the compassion he had for young women in crisis pregnancies, how important it was to support them and pray for them. 40 Days for Life gave him the opportunity to share his story, to celebrate his birth Mother and his adoptive Mother, whom he loved dearly. 40 Days for Life also gives the rest of us the passion to be on the sidewalk supporting young mothers and their families to choose LIFE, knowing we will be saving lives that will bring joy and love into their families.
Please join us from September 22 through October 31st on the Sidewalk in front of EMW to pray in community for an end to abortion. We need You!! Saturday, September 25th we need more volunteers if you are available. Sign up at 40daysforlife.com/louisville or reply to this email.
May God protect our campaign and May God bless each of you!
Blessings, Carol
