Queen of Hearts
Rules of the Game
The Queen of Hearts utilizes the Queen of Hearts official game board consisting of 54 numbers.
Must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets.
Tickets sell for $1.00 each, ONLY cash accepted.
When purchasing tickets the player must PRINT LEDGIBLY their First and Last name, phone number and One available number from the game board on the ticket. Only one name may be entered on a ticket.
A listing of available numbers will be updated and posted at the conclusion of each weekly drawing.
The Jackpot for the first weekly drawing starts at $5000.00.
The Jackpot will increase weekly at the rate of 75% of the previous week’s total sales minus 25% retained by Knights of Columbus 1221 Charitable Gaming Fund minus the Cash prize awarded.
Jackpot Winners will be required to furnish two forms of identification with one being a picture ID.
Winnings over $599.00 will require the winner to provide tax information and Knights of Columbus Council 1221 will send you a tax form W-2G for winnings of $600.00 or more. You will owe Federal and State Tax on all winnings. Knights of Columbus Council 1221 will withhold 25% of winnings over $5000.00 as required for federal taxes. A check for any Jackpot winning will be issued within 7 days after proper identification and all IRS paper work is completed. Rule #9 may be amended without prior notice pending IRS Rules.
Ways to win Queen of Hearts JACKPOT
To win the entire Jackpot the winning ticket holder must be present at the time of the drawing.
If the winning ticket holder is not present they will be awarded ½ the Jackpot with the remainder going to the Knights of Columbus Council 1221 Charitable Gaming Fund.
If Queen of Hearts is uncovered, the Jackpot, either in full or one half will be awarded to the winning ticket holder and a new game will be started.
Weekly drawings will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. The drawing will be held at Knights of Columbus Council 1221, 809 East Main St. New Albany, IN 47150
Ticket sales will end at 6:45pm sharp the night of the drawing.
Tickets will be rotated/mixed prior to the drawing.
An Operator will select One ticket from the drum and check for accuracy of required information. Questionable tickets will be validated by the Game Official
If more than One ticket is drawn or comes out of the drum they will be returned to the drum, mixed again and another ticket drawn.
If the drawn ticket does not have the players First and Last name, phone number and a current available number from the Queen of Hearts game board, the ticket will be deemed INVALID and another ticket drawn. If a ticket is deemed Invalid, no information from the ticket will be announced. Any INVALID ticket will be retained by the Game Official.
Ticket owner and number chosen will be announced ONLY after the ticket has been validated then entered on the Game Winners List.
The Operator will peel back the number entered on the winning ticket from the Queen of Hearts Board revealing the award. After a verified winner has been established all remaining tickets in the drum will be destroyed.
Prize Payouts are listed on a separate paper next to the Official game Board.

Queen of Hearts - $5000.00 and new game started
Joker – “2” 10 percent of Jackpot paid and new game started
ACES – “4” $150.00
Kings – “4” $125.00
Queens – “3” Diamond, Spade, Club $100.00
Jacks – “4” $ 75.00
Number cards 2 thru 10 – “36” $ 25.00
